Ready for School. Ready for Life. 804-409-5650

This Halloween, let’s treat kids to a great book!

We know people LOVE books and LOVE to share that love of books with children.

Books are BOO-tiful, a community-wide book drive, is designed to provide warm, snuggly moments to families with young children (ages birth to 5) who are experiencing stress and hardship in the face of the pandemic. Please consider donating some of the dollars you would have used to buy candy for Halloween to help bring joy and learning to a young child! Your contribution—of any amount—will offer just a little comfort to both parents and children as we struggle together during these unprecedented times.

Our virtual book drive will take place October 15th-31st.

Through our bulk purchase power, we are able to save 50-60% off from retail pricing at major retailers.  Your contributions will be maximized and will allow us to purchase many more books through your generosity.

Click on the red DONATE button and select the amount you would like to contribute ($100, $50, $25, $15, $10, Custom Amount)

Please share this flyer and website link far and wide and help us “treat” as many children in Central Virginia as possible this Halloween and Harvest season.

Your donation will purchase diverse and developmentally appropriate books similar to the titles below.
